The two spacious
guest rooms on the 3rd floor are The Lookout
Room, which
overlooks the mountains and Lake McClure and spectacular firey sunrises;
and The Joaquin Murrietta Room with
a great view of the lake and a huge star gazing balcony overlooking
the mountains and
red sunsets. The comfy queen beds are of natural hand crafted cedar
logs each with a down comforter in winter. Extra sleeping is available
in each. The rooms feature private decks with views, views, views!
The third floor rooms have private baths with iron clawfoot tubs/showers
(enough room for two and some bubbles), all with gleaming brass fixtures
and feet. The Lookout Room has
a refrigerator for your convenience and shares a coffee
making/microwave area between the two 3rd floor
rooms.
Situated on the first floor patio and spa level is our grand John Muir Suite.
Guests may use it's private entrance if desired. It offers a built in fireplace
for those cozy nights, a two room private bath with Roman style tile shower and
bidet. One can watch TV (Dish, VCR & DVD), play chess or batgammon at the
game table or just relax in front of the fire. The bed -a queen log platform
magnetic memory foam feather bed (feathers are optional). Rollaways available.
This room offers the same spectacular view as the Lookout Room and the parlor.
All rooms feature private baths and decks, sitting areas, a three course gourmet
champagne breakfast and afternoon wine tasting. For your comfort each room is
heated and air conditioned with air purifiers available upon request. |
